Eason Chan was born on July 27, 1969, in Hong Kong. He grew up in a family with a strong musical background; his mother was an opera singer and his father was a musician. Eason's interest in music started at an early age, and he began playing the guitar when he was just eight years old. After completing his secondary education, Eason attended the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts.
