记得那时候，我还是个好奇的小孩，每次看到妈妈坐在电脑前，一边点着鼠标一边认真地看东西，就总是充满了好奇心。我会蹲在她的旁边，看着屏幕上跳跃的文字和动态的图像，不停地问她：“妈咪，你怎么啦？为什么一直盯着电脑看？”

有时候，她会耐心地解释说：“我正在做一个非常重要的事情，那就是翻译。”然后她会拿出一本书给我，里面装满了各种各样的词汇和语法规则。每当我读到一些新词汇的时候，她都会教我它们的意思，让我也能跟上她的步伐。

慢慢地，我开始意识到，这个世界比我们想象中的要复杂多了。不同的国家、不同的文化，都有自己独特的声音，它们通过语言传递给我们信息。而我的妈妈，就是这些声音的一个桥梁。她用自己的双手，将不同语言之间的对话连接起来，使得世界变得更加接近。

有一天，我终于鼓起勇气，从 moms' shoulder peeked at the screen. On the computer, there were many videos, and my mom was sitting in front of them, carefully translating every word into Chinese. I watched her for a while and asked her what she was doing.

My mother smiled and said, "I'm working on a very important project right now. It's called 'Complete Video Translation 4'. My job is to translate videos from different languages into Chinese so that people can understand them better."

As she spoke, I realized that this wasn't just any ordinary translation work. It required not only fluency in multiple languages but also an understanding of cultural nuances and expressions unique to each language.

Mom continued to explain: "In this project, we have four types of complete video translations: general knowledge videos, educational content for children like you, entertainment shows like movies or TV series; news broadcasts; and finally technical documents related to science or technology."

She paused for a moment before adding with pride: "You know what? Your little sister even helped me find some cute animal pictures for one of the children's educational videos!"

I couldn't believe it - my little sister had been involved in Mom's work too! As I looked at her with newfound admiration, Mom gently placed a hand on my head.

"You know why your mom loves this job?" She asked softly as if sharing a secret between us two alone in the room. "It's because every time I finish translating something new," she said slowly while looking down at me,""she felt proud knowing that she has made it easier for someone else out there who speaks another language."
