Early Life and Career
Born in College Park, Georgia, Tauheed Epps better known by his stage name 2chainz, was raised by his single mother who worked multiple jobs to support their family. Growing up in a tough neighborhood, he found solace in music at an early age. He started rapping at the age of 14 and formed a group called "Playaz Circle" with two other friends.
After dropping out of college, 2chainz pursued a career in music full-time. Despite facing numerous setbacks and rejections, he remained determined to make it big. His perseverance paid off when he signed with DTP Records in 2007. Although his debut album "Based on a T.R.U. Story" received mixed reviews from critics, it still managed to go platinum.
